Vantage Stage
This stage is appropriate for both the Intermediate and Upper Intermediate level student who demonstrates a greater amount of ‘Independent’ use of the language.

Students entering the ’Threshold’ stage are typically in their fourth (or more) year of learning the language in a formal setting, and they should have been previously exposed to at least 350-400 guided teaching hours. This stage can accomodate both the Pre-Intermediate and the Intermediate level student.  Students entering this stage should have a good understanding of simple structures. They can deal with most simple situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken. They can express themselves in most common environments and hold conversations on a range of topics.

"John is proficient in breaking down segments of the Italian language and teaching them.  I have never seen such passion, creativity, and energy in a teacher!"

Kathy P

“I like the serious structure of the class, mixed in with times of hysterical laughter. This is what makes learning fun!”
